Subject: Re: Piano & Wrist Trouble Date: 31 Mar 1996 12:33:09 -0500 Organization: America Online, Inc. (1-800-827-6364) I am a physical therapist justlearning how to work on the web, so I'll try to give you some help as I learn to use my computer! I treated a world famous pianist last summer for "dysfunction". Regardless of the diagnosis, the toolswhich I'd recommend you exploring is 1)finding an outstanding rolfer who has 10 or more years of experience 2)begin swimming to open your shoulders and chest 3)find a Pilates specialist to strengthen and stabilize your trunk on pelvis, and strengthen your shoulder complex. The soft tissue work at the wrist will probably relieve your symptoms, but the "stabilization" work needs to happen at your shoulders and neck. Hope this is of help, and that I can find this site again to follow up! >Mindy
